Terms of Service

Please have this reviewed by a lawyer before you rely on it. It reflects how the service is described on this website today, but it is a starting draft rather than legal advice — and the fee, refund and guarantee terms in particular need to match what you actually offer in writing to students.
These terms apply when you use the EasyUni Edu website or engage us to support your university application. By creating an account or purchasing a package, you agree to them.
1. What we do
We are an education consultancy. We help you choose universities and programs in China, prepare and submit your applications, apply for scholarships, and arrange your visa, accommodation and arrival where your package includes it.
We are an independent consultancy. We are not a university, and we do not act on any university's behalf.
2. What we cannot promise
This is the most important section, so it is deliberately plain:
- We cannot guarantee admission. Every admission decision is made solely by the university. Our past acceptance rates describe previous students; they are not a prediction about your application.
- We cannot guarantee a scholarship. Scholarship awards are decided by universities and government bodies, not by us.
- We cannot guarantee a visa. Visas are issued at the discretion of the Chinese authorities.
- Tuition, living costs and deadlines shown on this site are estimates gathered from public sources. They change. Always confirm current figures with the university before making a financial commitment.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, truthful, complete information and genuine documents.
- Keep your account password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Meet the deadlines your advisor gives you. We cannot recover a missed university deadline.
- Pay any university, visa or third-party fees directly — these are separate from our service fee.
Submitting forged or altered documents will end our engagement immediately with no refund, and we may be obliged to inform the universities concerned.
4. Fees and refunds
Our packages and their prices are shown on our homepage. Fees cover our services only — they do not include university application fees, tuition, visa fees, insurance, flights or living costs.
Where a money-back guarantee is offered, it applies within the stated period from purchase and only where we have not yet submitted an application on your behalf. Refund requests should be sent to [email protected].
Being refused by a university is not by itself grounds for a refund, since the decision is not ours to make.
5. Your documents
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us permission to use those documents solely to prepare and submit your applications, and to share them with the universities you and your advisor select.
How we store and protect them is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Your account
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, that submits false documents, or that abuses our staff.
7. The website itself
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. University listings, program details and scholarship information are compiled from public sources and may be out of date.
The site's content, design and branding belong to EasyUni Edu. University names and logos belong to their respective institutions and are shown for identification only.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost earnings or travel costs — arising from an admission decision, a visa decision, or a university's own conduct.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Third-party services
The site links to and relies on services we do not control, including universities' application portals, WhatsApp, and Google's Firebase. Their own terms apply when you use them.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you purchase. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Shenzhen, Guangdong — unless mandatory consumer protection law in your own country gives you a different right.
